These look like the Black South Sea Pearls, seen in an very exclusive Jewellery Store recently that are priced at $13,500. There are some great beads that are called Shell beads out there that look like perfect spheres and they are! The thing is they are just shell beads made to look like perfect South Sea Pearls but are simply NOT genuine pearls. Subtle and under stated black pearls like this, look like a million dollars and are in fact genuine beautiful black cultured freshwater pearls. Black lipped oysters are discussed in my blog.
The actual necklaces for purchase here are closer in colour to the image of the two necklaces. They are remarkable and oh so stunning!
